Why these and not others
We deliberately exclude installations that, however successful, don't meet our threshold for being useful examples. A system installed by one specialized firm using rare equipment, or a one-of-a-kind custom solution built into an unusual property, teaches nothing about what your installer will likely recommend for your roof.
Every project here was selected for three reasons:
- The approach solves a constraint that appears across multiple properties, not just one
- The equipment and method are available through ordinary commercial channels, not specialty suppliers
- The system's real-world performance aligns with its design projections, confirming the approach is sound
This means the showcase becomes more useful the closer your situation matches one of the properties featured. How each was chosen
Every system featured here went through a structured assessment before being included. The four steps ensure that what we showcase reflects actual performance, not projections.
